Baldwyn originated in 1834 as Carrolville, a settlement that gradually moved eastward to a site closer to the railroad. In 1860, Baldwyn became the name of the town in honor of Mr. M.F.D. Baldwyn. Since that time Baldwyn has continue to grow into a thriving community full of heritage and tradition despite fires, tornados, or other elements. Our goal is simple. We want to help you develop the type of pride in Baldwyn that the wonderful citizens of Baldwyn have each day of their lives.
